A little about me!
I’m a writer, author, and music industry executive. While working in the music industry for thirteen years and counting, I’ve also written for Essence.com, The Cut, Apartment Therapy, and GRAMMY.com, among others. My debut novel Good Morning, Love was released in June of 2022 and recently, I was named a 2023 Torch Literary Arts retreat inaugural fellow.
My passion whether working with music makers or writers from marginalized communities, is in creating safe gathering spaces and providing educational opportunities for creatives. In 2017, I launched a community for Black writers and writers of color entitled Permission to Write.
